Global Policy ForumGlobal Policy Forum (GPF) is an independent policy monitoring body that monitors the activities of the United Nations and inspects global policymaking for its impacts. GPF works specifically in the works of UN Security Council, the global economy and the food and hunger crisis. GPF encourages the accountability and participation of citizens in decisions related to international law, social justice, peace and security. GPF is involved in the collection of information and distributes it on its websites followed by frequent media interviews. GPF plays a crucial role in NGO networks and other arenas of advocacy. GPF also conduct meetings and conferences and it is also actively involved in publishing original research and policy papers.

GPF is deeply involved in the analysis of continual structures of power and discuss the fast emerging issues in the world. GPF’s work pose a big challenge to mainstream thinking and it focuses on devising innovative ways by questioning the conventional wisdom. It focuses on cooperative and sustainable solutions for the great problems of the world. It was founded in the year 1993 as a non-profit and tax-exempt organization that enjoys the consultative status at the United Nations. The office of Global Policy Forum is situated across the street from UN headquarters in New York. GPF also possess a European affiliate which is located in Bonn, Germany.

GPF adopts a holistic approach and empathise on connecting peace and security with human development and economic justice. GPF is dedicated to put its efforts in well-focused and unique programs where it can employ special analytical and organizational edge.
